I'm a software engineer and engineering leader with over 12 years of experience architecting, building, and scaling backend systems, data platforms, and user-facing applications across industries like e-commerce, proptech, and enterprise SaaS.
Currently, I lead a team at Chewy, where we built a Slotting Automation Platform that’s transforming how products are stored in fulfillment centers across the U.S. We integrated data from Snowflake, S3, and REST APIs, layered in Spring Boot workflows, optimized product placement using Gurobi, and used React + Next.js to deliver a frontend that enabled operational validation — all while saving the company over $5 million annually. The system we built isn't just technically sophisticated; it changed the way an entire operation makes decisions.
My background spans a wide range of systems — from ad automation pipelines ingesting MLS data across North America at HomeSpotter, to performance and labor management platforms at Chewy, to building and optimizing billing and marketing infrastructure at Cisco WebEx and Dell Technologies.

Outside of work, I live in Minneapolis with my wife Bri and I'm a proud pet parent of two amazing dogs, Bullet and Scout. I enjoy walking local trails, brewing strong coffee, experimenting with IoT projects, and coding from my favorite neighborhood café. Whether I’m sketching out a new system design or tinkering with Raspberry Pi sensors, I’m always driven by curiosity and the joy of building things that matter.
